TWO SOULS WHO MET IN MILAN AND WERE TAKEN TO A NEW DIMENSION BY THEIR EXPERIENCES IN INDIA. TOGETHER THEY FORMED A CONFLUENCE OF ITALIAN AND INDIAN TRADITION THAT BROADENED THE CONCEPT OF LUXURY.
Dario Contessotto and Mirco Colussi met at the Politecnico di Milano in 2007 at the Faculty of Design. After their degree they continued their own career in the furniture design field in different studios and Italian companies. The idea to collaborate with Scarlet Splendour is born from their shared experiences and love for Indian traditions.

Designers Dario Contessotto and Mirco Colussi found their muse in the skies and created this marvellous collection of soft and heavenly, seats worthy of gods for Scarlet Splendour. Their next collection - Terra is inspired by the Indian matka that makes the sweetest music and now fine vases and tables too!
With a shared passion for creativity, and a unique experience in India Dario and Mirco projected themselves towards a new human and professional level. Both visited the Indian subcontinent in different periods, in 2010 and in 2012. Which is how they collaborated with Scarlet Splendour for the creation of luxury and high-end products that broaden the experience of living by combining the Indian and Italian traditions.
