VIEW DESIGNGlassmaking in Murano originated in the 8th-century, with Asian and Islamic influences drawn from the trading port of Venice. For centuries, Murano jealously guarded the art of glass making. The tradition however evolved from generation to generation. Designer Matteo Cibic along with the founders of Scarlet Splendour found inspiration during their tour in Italy in a beautiful serpent song, known as Luce Naga, which so strikingly appears in the boundless forms. The collection was completed with light that shines through each unique Murano Glass Blulb. Every inch of this collection is handcrafted in Italy and forms a single timeless piece of contemporary history, completed with almost decadent luxury.
